I am a native Brit who is enjoying learning how to be a Texan! Missing my bees from back home I joined Trinity Valley Beekeepers to have contact with fellow enthusiasts. I was drawn to top bar beekeeping and had up to 3 hives back in the UK. I have managed to make every mistake in the book (ask me about the swarm of bees loose in a moving car!) and love the fact there is always something new to learn.
