Hive Splits- the bees do it naturally each Spring.. we can lend them a hand to promote a desired result or manage against it. Michelle Boerst, a Master Beekeeper and return speaker to TVBA will walk us through the various types of splits and how to go about them.

EVERYONE IS WELCOME TO OUR MEETINGS.
Established in 1969, Trinity Valley Beekeepers Association has served beekeepers and nature enthusiasts for 55 years! A 501(c)3 Non-Profit Organization, TVBA’s goal is to educate the our membership and the public on subjects related to bees, beekeeping practices, state and local laws or ordinances that regulate beekeeping and products of the hives. We strive to provide both liaison to and coordination with governmental agencies with programs and activities affecting beekeeping. Our members are from Dallas and the surrounding areas of North and East Texas and beyond. All are welcome at every meeting or event!
TVBA hosts Monthly Educational Meetings with various topics of interest relevant to both the seasoned beekeeper as well as the beginner beekeeper or simply any bee-lover. Each meeting includes a Speaker Presentation, an optional Beginner Beekeeping Class, Seasonal Content and of course- fun and fellowship with like-minded people.
